Krone presents load retaining curtains for the clothing transport sector

Every clothing carrier is familiar with this problem: During the transport of bags of clothing, the side curtains bulge out and the permissible total vehicle width of 2,550 mm is often exceeded.

Krone is now presenting a clever solution with the new load retaining side curtains. Special feature of the curtain: It consists of two layers, whereby additional horizontal and vertical stiffening elements are integrated between the inner and outer layers to ensure greater rigidity. The stiffening elements consist of aluminium profiles that are integrated vertically; for horizontal stiffening, two ropes are stretched by a hydraulic pump located in each of the front and rear corner posts. This ensures very high sturdiness for the curtains and the permissible vehicle width is not exceeded.
