Friday, the last day of another outstanding transport logistic!
Time to thank everyone who made this fair so great: our employees and helpers for their great commitment. Our customers and guests for their numerous visits and inspiring conversations. And of course Messe München for your support. Thank you!
Also on the third day there are again interesting contributions in the ‚Denkfabrik‘. Sebastian Dust started the day with a presentation on Krone Fair Care: Planning and economy through full service. The Fair Care Service ensures that trailers and semi-trailers are supplied around the clock throughout Europe. This offers customers optimal planning and comprehensive security.
Missed this slot? Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Sebastian Dust will be back at the Krone Denkfabrik to answer all questions.
On the third day of the fair we were able to welcome Evertracker in our 'Denkfabrik'. For this software start-up, transparency is a clear priority. Evertracker's software gives users full control and visibility of their supply chain, making processes more efficient and effective. This is made possible by the use of algorithms. Both forwarders, such as Kobernuss, and big players, such as Bosch, are already partners of the start-up.
Today the startup Smartlane introduced itself in the 'Denkfabrik'. Smartlane Transport Intelligence is a cloud based software for the continuous automation and optimization of transport processes. This means that the entire transport logistics of a company can be optimised and managed both strategically and operationally with just one click.
There are more new impulses every day in the 'Denkfabrik' at the Krone stand. Stay tuned.
State Secretary Dr. Berend Lindner also took the opportunity and visited the Krone stand as part of the tour of the fair. At the stand, Dr. Lindner was impressed by the Krone products and services and also took a seat directly on the electrically operated RYTLE MovR load wheel.
RYTLE GmbH was founded in the summer of 2017 with the aim of revolutionising city logistics. The logistics concept, consisting of autonomous mobile HUBs, electrically operated Cargo Bikes and the appropriate software platform, is already in use worldwide.
Following the positive response to transport logistic 2017, a meeting of all exhibitors and visitors from the Emsland region took place again at KRONE's stand this year.
The visitors were welcomed personally by Dr. Bernard Krone, Bernard Krone, and Dr. Frank Albers. At a get-together the responsible persons were able to exchange information about current topics.
Today the experts of the ‚Denkfabrik‘ met for a Kick-Off-Meeting at the Krone booth. The experts were welcomed by Bernard Krone, Dr. Frank Albers and Stefan Oelker.
Over the next few days, the experts will answer all questions on future-oriented topics in the ‚Denkfabrik‘ and thus enter into a dialogue with the visitors on the extensive topics of the future.
This is off to a good start: transport logistic has only just opened its doors in Munich, where first prize has already reached us: we were awarded the "Green Truck Trailer Innovation Award" for Krone Smart Capacity Management.
On behalf of the KRONE team, Stefan Oelker, Head of Marketing, Kurt Kunz, Head of Research / Advanced Development and Electronics and Managing Director Dr. Frank Albers accepted the award.
At the opening of the transport logistic trade fair in Munich, Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer visited the KRONE stand. He was welcomed by Dr. Bernard Krone and Dr. Frank Albers, Managing Director Sales and Marketing. He was able to convince himself of the digital services presented this year, such as Smart Track and Trace and Smart Capacity Management.
As a thank you and for the trust placed in us, Bernard Krone and Dr. Frank Albers handed over a picture to Ralph Svehla and Thomas Eberl from the Commercial Vehicle Rental KLV Rent.
Krone had delivered a total of 250 units to KLV, 20 of which were KRONE Profi Liners. These Profi Liners were transported directly from the Krone factory in Werlte by rail to the Austrian town of Wels.
On the first day of the fair, Start-up Sirum presented its Transport Management Software (TMS) in the Krone Denkfabrik. The modular software enables small and medium-sized transport companies to cooperate digitally along the supply chain and to handle transport efficiently using a web-based all-in-one solution.
Every day at 12:30 p.m. another start-up company presents new impulses within the framework of the Denkfabrik.
