Middle extension with traction rear

The Box Liner eLTU70 accommodates all container sizes. In the current version, also for 20' swap and tank containers. In addition, with the various wheel gauges and carrier positions, it is possible to adjust the load distribution on 2 and 3-axle semitrailer tractors.

The vehicle stands out with its relatively low dead weight and higher stability.

Simply inimitable

This position ensures improved load distribution and easy loading and unloading of the 20‘ container on the ramp.

As an option, 45‘ EC containers can be transported with an extended front extension without special permit.

The traction rear improves the fifth-wheel load and therefore the payload for heavy 20‘ containers flush with the rear by approx. 1 tonne.

The wheel gauge can easily be pre-selected using an engage function. The different container positions are marked with a colour and are also found at the rear and on the optional front extension.

The folding lock mechanisms ensure easy and convenient conversion from 40‘ to 2 x 20‘.

A low-maintenance pneumatic motor with a high start torque ensures uniform extension of the 2,600 mm long rear extension.

A stainless steel drain pan with shut-off valve is available as an option to collect leaks behind the 20' centred tank container.

The chassis offers storage space in the centre longitudinal beam for carrying two hoses with a length of up to 5 m.

The wheel chocks are mounted directly in front of the axles and are easily accessible.

Regardless of whether it is a traction rear or a standard rear, a back-up spotlight can always be installed in a protected manner.

The traction rear and traction+ combination on the SDC 27 eL20 ensures an excellent fifth-wheel load. The 25% drive axle load required in cross-border traffic can be achieved up to a container weight of approx. 28 tonnes (depending on the tractor unit) This combination also ensures that the load distribution of the SDC 27 eLTU70 is well-balanced.

If equipped with a spare wheel holder, the side collision protection can also be supplied in a fold-up version.

Lift axles automatically respond load-dependently. This allows you to reduce your tyre wear and save fuel.

A variety of warning signs can be fitted to the rear of the vehicle.

A genset (optionally from Genmark, Carrier or Thermoking) makes it possible to transport refrigerated containers at controlled temperatures. The genset also features its own fuel tank, which ensures that the cold chain is not interrupted even during road transport.
