The Box Liner eLTU50-2 Traction features the patented traction rear. Among other things, this allows for optimized positioning of rear-flush 20' containers with increased fifth-wheel pressure. The chassis offers optimal load distribution for 2- and 3-axle tractor units.

The following transport options are possible with this robust vehicle: 2 x 20' (with folding lock), 40' and 20' in the middle – also tank containers up to C715 SWAP. 45' containers can be transported without front extension, whereby country-specific regulations must be observed. The Box Liner eLTU55-2 differs from the eLTU50-2 in that it is equipped with an additional front extension for transporting 45' containers with long tunnels without a special permit. Optionally, the eLTU50-2 Traction can also transport 30' containers.

This position ensures improved load distribution and easy loading and unloading of the 20‘ container on the ramp.

Position for 45’

As an option, 45‘ EC containers can be transported with an extended front extension without special permit. (In many countries, a special permit is required for all 45' containers with a B-dimension of 12,775 mm)

Folding lock mechanisms

The folding lock mechanisms ensure easy and convenient conversion from 40‘ to 2 x 20‘

Traction rear

The traction rear ensures noticeably better traction for 20' flush with the rear.

User-friendly

Pictograms make it easier for the operator to adjust the chassis correctly for transporting any container.

Front extension

Equipped with a front extension, the chassis is upgraded from eLTU50-2 to eLTU55-2. It can be pulled out manually and is intuitive to use.

Locks on the front extension

The front container lock can be adjusted for containers with and without tunnels, as well as for straight or slanted corners. It is possible to convert to 2x 20' tunnel containers without climbing onto the tractor unit. There is no need to stow loose adapter devices, as these are designed to be foldable.

Rear Extension

The pneumatic cylinder, which is protected in the rear extension carrier, ensures a robust, low-wear, and low-maintenance rear extension. The rear extension is operated intuitively via compressed air valves. Stable rollers ensure safe guidance of the extension. Simple pictograms, a pneumatic lock, and a lock indicator make it easy for the operator to select the desired settings.
